Changeable weather in the north, sunnier in the south

With a northerly flow, clouds are building up on the northern side of the Alps, whilst the southern side the conditions will be better.
Light snow is still falling along the alpine crest, particularly east of the Brenner Pass. In the south, the sky is initially clear, with only a few harmless clouds appearing as the day progresses. A north foehn is blowing in many valleys.

Weather in the mountain

With a northerly flow, clouds are building up on the northern side of the Alps, whilst the southern side the conditions will be better.
Some snowfall is still expected along the eastern Alpine main ridge. Elsewhere northerly winds will break up the clouds and it will be sunny at times, particularly in the southern mountain ranges.
